A new itinerancy marks the route that in the last five years has made the exhibition ’50 Photographs with History’. At the Tomás y Valiente Cultural Center in Fuenlabrada now comes this exhibition that had its starting point in the homonymous book published in 2017 by Signo editores and in the collaboration between Acción Cultural Española (Government of Spain) and the City Council of Fuenlabrada.

On September 8, the exhibition was inaugurated in room A of CEART, curated by José María Díaz-Maroto and Gonzalo Revidiego, which proposes a journey through the last 80 years of photography in Spain, becoming an essential sample to address the history of the genre. “Each photograph selected is the reflection of an era, of a way of understanding photography and, of course, of its corresponding social or humanist charge.
